The Network of Fight against the Draft of the Children in Togo (RELUTET) is a network which gathers 44 members, of associations, NGO and trade unions, divided in the 5 administrative areas of the country. All have, among their activities, a program of fight against the draft of the children.

The network was created following a regional workshop held in Grand Bassam in Ivory Coast in December 2002. NGO La Colombe was the focal point of the network, whose initiative returns in AHUEFA, La Colombe, Terre des Hommes et Wao Afrique.
On January 15, 2005, the network held its first General meeting, during whom the statutes and the action plan 2005-2007 were adopted. Eighteen (18) NGO/associations were then members of the network. They are forty four today (44).
The network began its activities in 2005 with for mission the installation of a national action plan of fight against the draft of the children in accordance with the objectives defined at the regional level.

Why a network ? |

“United we stand, divided we fall”.
The draft of the children is a complex and multiform phenomenon. In spite of the absence of exact figures, one knows today that the number of victims is increasing to Togo as in all the other countries of Center and West Africa.

The division of experiments, the exchange, the good communication, the research-action are as many assets for the effectiveness of the actions of our members.
The network is done carries it word of its members on the national scene and international, and takes part in the definition of the public policies of protection of the children, of fight against the draft in particular.
